NIBL to work with PADT

KATHMANDU: Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) opened its 35th branch in Gaighat, on Monday. Also, NIBL has joined hands with Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) to facilitate the estimated arrival of over 5, 00, 000 pilgrims for the Mahashivarati festival.

In order to manage the heavy turnover, PADT has introduced a new queue system wherein by paying an entrance fee of Rs 1000 one can enter the temple in a much shorter time and with less hassle. The tickets are available at NIBL branches located at Durbar Marg, Boudha, New Road, Gongabu, Putalisadak, Kalimati, Battisputali, Seepadol and Pulchowk in Kathmandu and in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Banepa and Bhairahawa. According to a statement, the bank is also constructing three new cremations pyres at Aryaghat at the request of PADT. Alongside, NIBL has also taken an initiative to renovate the cremation site on the Pashupatinath Temple premises.
