KATHMANDU: Construction Times, in association with the Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal (FCAN), recently felicitated Nepali projects with ‘Nice Awards 2019’.

The award is a special recognition to the best in construction and infrastructure projects in Nepal. Those projects that have been awarded include Muglin-Narayangadh Road Project, Lower Solu Hydropower, Dharan-Chatara Road Project, TIA Rehabilitation Project, Kohalpur- Mahendranagar Second Circuit Transmission Line and Upper Sanjen Hydroelectric Project, among others. National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Timalsina presented the awards to the best ongoing and upcoming projects. “The award ceremony intends to encourage Nepali contractors and project developers,” said Ramamurthy Mayavan, editor in chief of Construction Times.

Similarly, Nikolas Pandey, senior vice president of FCAN, opined that the trend of felicitating contractors and projects will boost the morale of those involved in the construction sector of the country.
