NMB-FNCSI pact

KATHMANDU: NMB Bank and Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) have signed a pact to conduct a series of financial literacy programmes.

The pact was signed by Govind Ghimire, chief business officer, NMB Bank and Dambar Prasad Regmi, secretary general, FNCSI. FNCSI shall conduct the programme among its 45,000 members with support from NMB Bank. Among the 45,000 members of FNCSI 9,000 are women entrepreneurs.

The financial literacy programme will focus on aspects of micro, small and medium sized enterprises whereby it will guide the participants in securing financial resources for their business and utilising them optimally.

The programme is expected to impart set of skills and knowledge to the participants through which they can take effective financial decisions.
