Nokia’s maiden cellphone care centre
Kathmandu, October 24:
Nokia today inaugurated its first Care Centre at Tamrakar House, New Road, here.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony Nokia Emerging Asia (EA) managing director Prem Chand said, "Nepal presents a huge opportunity and potential for Nokia with regard to our growth strategy in emerging Asian markets and we are committed to offering Nepali consumers the best in class service and our first Care Center in Nepal is a step towards it."
"We are delighted to open a Care Centre in Nepal. We believe this will enable us to provide aftersales support and service to the vast number of Nokia users in the country," said Riad Rouf, Nokia EA care manager.
The Care Centre is currently equipped with 16 trained personnel. Nokia has also set up five collection points at Birtamod, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Narayanghat and Pokhara so that customers outside Kathmandu can avail of the Care Centre services.
Nokia has plans to open up more Care Centres in Nepal in the coming months to offer Nokia users complete aftersales service and solutions to their problems.
