NSS launches new IS courses
Kathmandu, August 3:
Network Security Solutions (NSS) with support of its local authorised training partner Computer Point Nepal (CPN) has introduced a range of training programmes to provide cutting-edge education on information security (IS), in Nepal.
The programmes aims to address growing demand for skilled IT security manpower in the country. These are aimed to the engineers, IT students as well as employed professionals to enhance their existing skill sets.
On the occasion, NSS India chief operations officer and country manager Rajendra Dave said, “This new initiative by NSS will help create the base for specialised manpower that Nepal needs today.”
Initially NSS has launched two specialised training programmes in Nepal — NSS Certified Ethical Hacker and the Certified Network Security Administrator.
Inder Raj Bhalla, senior vice-president of NSS said that these courses would help participants emerge as industry-ready professionals, with requisite skill and exposure.
Hemant K Chaurasiya, managing director at CPN said that such training courses on network security will be a milestone for the ICT development, which are being launched for the first time in Nepal.
CPN in association with NSS plans to introduce more courses on IS such as security essentials for beginners and managers, NSS certified courses on security professional, testing professional and other customised programme for corporate and government organisations.
