NT’s CDMA rental halved
KATHMANDU: From August 17, Nepal Telecom will charge only Rs 200 — half the CDMA postpaid mobile phone monthly rental. “We are trying our best to facilitate our customers,” said NT spokesperson Surendra Bahadur Thike.
The discounted charge of Rs 200 for the monthly rental of CDMA postpaid mobile is excluding taxes, said Thike. The CDMA mobile customer can also use the facility to voice message, sms and avail of PDSN service. According to NT, with the new reduced rental charge CDMA post paid mobile charge will be comparatively be lesser.
The charge for prepaid mobile from 6 am to 10 pm is Rs 1.60 per minute while charge from 10 pm to 6 am is Rs 0.75 per minute.
