NTB, HAN campaign in India, China

KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB)’s promotional campaign titled ‘Garmi se behaal? Chalo Nepal!’ has been relaunched in major Indian cities since Monday. The campaign has received overwhelming response from Indian citizens, as per a media release issued on Tuesday. Till now, the campaign has been viewed and liked by around 70,000 visitors at NTB’s Facebook page and hundreds have shared it, according to the tourism board. NTB had launched a similar campaign targeted at some Indian cities in April as well. Likewise, Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has been organising a week-long promotional campaign in Beijing and Shanghai of China from Monday. The promotional programme organised by HAN has been participated by tourism entrepreneurs, government officials and media personalities of China. HAN and China Hotel Association are also preparing to renew the memorandum of understanding signed here in 2011 to promote tourist destinations in each other’s countries.
