OPPO wins awards
KATHMANDU: OPPO has won two honours from International Data Group (IDG) at a ceremony hosted on January 6 as part of Las Vegas’ annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
In an announcement from Patrick Kenealy, managing director of IDG Ventures USA, OPPO was recognised as both 2016-17 Global Top Smartphones Brand and 2016-17 Global Top Smart Connected Devices Brand, according to a press release. OPPO Technology Planning Director Luma Lu had accepted the awards in Las Vegas.
The ‘Global Top Brands’ ceremony is organised by US-based IDG and is fully supported by research agency International Data Corporation.
This year marked the 11th time IDG has held the event, which aims to bolster the development of the consumer electronics industry through celebrating top global brands that have distinguished themselves with innovative technologies and a commitment to user satisfaction.
Dubbed as selfie expert OPPO F1s is being highly appreciated in Nepali market. Equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, Flash fingerprint unlock feature is also available in the phone. Priced at Rs 33,850, this phone supports 4G as well. Along with F1s, A37 and Neo7 phone models are also available in Nepal.
