KATHMANDU: A team from the Project for Agriculture Commercialisation and Trade (PACT) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development on Friday monitored a research lab and an under-construction market site in Jhapa and Morang districts recently.

The team led by PACT Director Govinda Prasad Sharma monitored the Rapid Bioassay of Pesticide Residues (RBPR) Laboratory and a livestock market in Birtamod of Jhapa district.

Also the team monitored the newly installed technology at the Food Technology and Quality Control Regional Laboratory in Biratnagar.

PACT’s Senior Project Manager Dinesh Prasad Sapkota, Technical Advisor Prabhakar Pathak, Biratnagar-based Implementation Assisting Team Chief Bhanubhakta Mainali, Regional Technical Service Team Leader Dhirendra Karki among others were members of the monitoring team.
