KATHMANDU: The Project for Agriculture Commercialisation and Trade (PACT) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MoAD) organised a six-day training for its focal persons working in various districts.

The Project said officials working at District Agricultural Development Offices and District Livestock Development Offices of 19 districts of the Central Development Region had attended the training that concluded in Kathmandu on Friday.

According to a PACT press statement, the first phase of the training included sessions on monitoring and evaluation procedures of PACT sub-projects as well as report writing.

The second phase was focused on developing value chains.

PACT Director Indra Kant Jha distributed certificated to the participants on the final day.
