KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today inspected the finance ministry and said he was happy to see progress that was felt by the people. Finance Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai said the ministry could not spend on development activities due to political bickering. He also attributed low spending on development activities to the delayed budget and wrangling over the Investment Board. Finance secretary Rameshwor Khanal and acting revenue secretary Krishna Hari Baskota presented papers on the economic situation.
