KATHMANDU: Qatar Airways has handed over a cheque to the Global Shapers Community Kathmandu towards the rebuilding of Ganesh Higher Secondary School in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.  Ganesh Higher Secondary School will not only be reconstructed, but also be rebuilt with modern child-friendly classrooms, smart grids, and interactive e-learning tools for students, as per a statement issued on Wednesday. This can be used as a model to build other schools by government agencies as well as private and international institutions. The school is also designed as a safe space for students, and with the potential to become a community centre in case of a natural disaster with the capacity to accommodate 5,000 people.
