Revenue collection rises
LALITPUR:The Internal Revenue Office, Lalitpur has collected tax more than 44 per cent of its target during the first four months of the current fiscal year. The Office has recovered a total revenue of around Rs 4.418 billion under various titles during the period. Of the total collection, the income tax contributes the highest amount and miscellaneous tax contributes the least according to the records, said Lekh Raj Bhandari, tax officer. — RSS
Antu festival on November 30
BIRATNAGAR: Antu Tourism Development Centre, Seti Nageswor Temple and Garbhakundham Committee, Ilam are jointly organising the sixth Antu tourism festival-2064 in Antudanda of Ilam from November 30.
The attraction of the four-day long festival includes sunrise observation, food festival and cultural dances of various communities. Last year, 80,000 tourists visited the
festival. This year, 1,00,000 tourists are expected to visit the festival.— RSS
