2005 Acura RL

Acura has a legitimate contender in the all-new RL. The RL boasts a number of performance, design, technological and safety features. The powertrain features a 300hp 3.5L V6 and a 5-speed automatic. Power is applied to all 4 wheels with the SH-AWD (TM) system. This system varies torque front and back and side-by-side on the rear axle. ABS and stability control are standard. The interior is finished in leather, wood and aluminum trim with LED backlit instrumentation. Active noise cancellation quiets the cabin and a satellite navigation system incorporates real-time traffic information for avoiding traffic in big cities. The exterior styling is restrained, yet sporty enough to fair well against A6, E-class and 5-series.

Hyundai FWD Sedan

The Hyundai Sonata has increasingly become a viable alternative for many mid-sized sedan lovers. In recent years, quality awards and healthy warranties have added to the strong price value that Hyundai offered. The FWD sedan is offered with either a 160hp four-cylinder engine, or a 220hp V6. The four cylinder is offered with a choice of 5-speed manual, or 4-speed automatic. The V6 is only offered with a 5-speed automatic. Sonata has grown enough in size to be classified as a large car. The increased room and standard safety features like stabilol and side curtain airbags translate in to a solid offering.
