SAARC chamber calls for investor-friendly climate

Kathmandu, February 13:

The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Chamber of Commerce and Industry today met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘ Prachanda’ and urged for an investment-friendly environment.

Kush Kumar Joshi, president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry informed the PM about current activities of the federation. Tariq Sayeed, president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the government should form sectors where investments can be made.

Another statement by FNCCI said various training programmes have been launched. The applications for thep rogrammes are being distributed in districts’ headquarters. Joint secretary at the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Rana Bahadur Shrestha said, “The government will grant loan to 25,000 youths. It will also provide life and property insurance to them.”
