KATHMANDU: Sagarmatha Cement, a product of Ghorahi Cement Industry, has introduced a home insurance scheme for its customers. Under the scheme, the company will provide a home insurance plan for customers who purchase at least 50 bags of Sagarmatha Cement. The insurance will provide cover for losses worth Rs one million incurred due to fire, lightening and earthquake. The company said in a press statement issued on Sunday that it was providing this insurance scheme keeping in mind devastating earthquakes of last year and also to make people aware about constructing safe buildings.
