GARU: Two persons were arrested on Thursday night for smuggling timber in Rautahat district. The arrestees are Jogendra Sahani of Kanakpur VDC and Prem Singh Dhami of Ranganpur VDC. Officials from the District Forest Office caught them felling saal trees. Action will be taken against them under the Forest Act, said assistant forest officer Rakesh Karna.
