KATHMANDU: Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal (SEJON) and National Banking Institute (NBI) have agreed to conduct a training programme for economic journalists on Anti Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) issues.

NBI will facilitate 25 economic journalists for online training on an annual basis and also face-to-face training in the country. It will bear all the costs incurred to train the economic journalists for their capacity development.

SEJON President Gokarna Awasthi and NBI Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Subba signed a memorandum of understanding in this regard on Tuesday.
