Tulsipur, April 27:

Dairy farmers agitating since Sunday in western Dang demanding a rise in milk price have called off their agitation from Wednesday after a all-party meeting including hotel entrepreneurs, political party representatives and farmers.

They took back the agitations after the meeting agreed to raise the milk price.

At the meeting held on the initiative of Tulsipur Sarokar Munch, it has also been agreed that the farmers would be paid Rs 28 per litre of milk.

Earlier, they used to get only Rs 24 per litre.
