President speak
KATHMANDU: Deepak Mahat, while talking to The Himalayan Times, clarified that the news sent by the so-called 182 members is totally false. He claimed that they hold no authenticity and their allegations are baseless, lodged by some trekking agencies. Various issues talked by these trekking agencies are hypothetical, he added. He clarified that TAAN has never been used ‘politically’. TAAN has at times alerted NMA to control revenue leakage and other misdeeds which might have irked some members. — HNS
