BIRTAMOD: A total of 2,076 metric tonnes of tea has been exported to various countries via eastern point of Nepal during the first four months of the current fiscal year that ended on November 15, according to Mechi Customs Office, Kakarbhitta. According to the office, out of this, 63 metric tonnes of tea was exported to the third countries and the rest to India. Altogether 3,000 metric tonnes was exported to India and 40 metric tonnes was exported to the third countries last year during the same period.
