KATHMANDU: Three persons have filed their candidacy for the post of President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

Incumbent Acting President Pashupati Murarka, former Vice-Presidents Bhawani Rana and Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar have registered their nominations for the election going to be held on coming Friday, said Chief Election Officer Govinda Dev Pandey.

The post of the President at FNCCI has been lying vacant since March 17 after the then President Pradeep Jung Pandey was sent to jail for a three-decade old graft case.
