Trade fair to start today

Pokhara, December 5:

Subash Chandra Nembang, the speaker of Interim Legislature Parliament is inaugurating National Industrial fair at Nayabazaar, Pokhara on Thursday. Organised by Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI), the festival will last till December 15.

Dipak Shrestha, co-ordinator and president of PCCI, informed that 335 stalls have been booked till today. It has been expected that the fair would help promote economic activities in the region. “PCCI has been playing significant role in developing Pokhara as the city of education, health, tourism and agriculture for last 54 years,” said Shrestha, adding that different products related to industry, agriculture, handicrafts and information technology would be displayed during the festival.

Michael Karmacharya, second vice-chairman of PCCI said that the visitors will also get entertainment as there are cultural programme like dances, concerts and fashion shows also.
