KATHMANDU:

Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) held an interaction with newly appointed Nepali ambassador to Australia Yogendra Dhakal on Wednesday. Dhakal said he would work promote bilateral trade, tourism and investment as well as people to people relationship.

NCC president Surendra Bir Malakar expressed concern over the rising bilateral trade deficit between Nepal and Australia. He suggested Nepali embassy to organise special programmes in Australia to promote exports. He stressed on the need for direct flights to Australia to promote tourism.
