KATHMANDU: Pooja International Nepal, authorised distributor of Volkswagen, has launched new Tiguan.

Launched in Nepal in 2010, more than 350 Tiguans have been sold here, as per a press statement. New Tiguan is powered with an efficient 2.0L TSI and TDI engine mated to a supple seven-speed automatic-DSG gearbox.

It delivers peak power of 180 PS/132 kW and 320 Nm of torque and 105KW/150PS power with 340 Nm of torque, respectively.

Starting at Rs 9.9 million, the new Tiguan is available in four variants — Trendline 1.4L, Comfortline and Highline 2.0L in both petrol and diesel engines.

Separately, the firm has also launched all new Amarok with powerful 2.0 litre TDI Biturbo engine that sets new standards in terms power, torque, fuel economy and CO2 emissions.
