Volkswagen’s support

KATHMANDU: On behalf of Volkswagen group, Thomas Steg, chief representative and head of external and government relations Volkswagen AG has handed over a cheque of 200,000 euros to Christian Reuter, secretary general of Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross). This relief is targeted for the earthquake victims of the worst affected areas in the hilly regions of Nepal who are homeless and forced to live in tents or under open skies, as per a press statement issued on Tuesday. The support comes under a strategic partnership between Volkswagen AG and the German Red Cross with the slogan ‘Responsibility for the people’.
