KATHMANDU: Direction Nepal today announced the “4th Wedding and Gift Expo” which will be held at Direction Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) from November 19 to 22.

The expo promises to be an innovatively conceptualized event with the aim to cater to the growing needs of people and demand for a comprehensive solution to weddings ceremonies.

“We will have 50 stalls of which sixty per cent will those of be participants from previous years,” said Anuj K Shrestha.

The expo is targeting the wedding season which began two days ago. “We are making people aware of new trends as well as traditional mores used as far as weddings go. Minister for Culture Minendra Rijal has kindly consented to inaugurate the expo,” said Pashupati KC, coordinator of the event.

Namuna College of Technology is hosting a bridal fashion show coming Saturday, and there will also be a bridal make-up competition with free henna application for ladies coming to visit the expo.

Twenty beauty parlours will participate and free hair-styling will also be on the agenda as an added attraction to make the expo more appealing.

Over 15,000 people are expected to visit the expo which is also a means to facilitate face-to-face meeting buyers as well and sellers, with the intention of registering growth in sale volume as well as brand promotion.
