WB, IMF praise Nepal’s progress

KATHMANDU: International financial institutions like World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have praised the economic growth projection of Nepal for the ongoing fiscal.

Amid the Spring Meetings being held between the two financial institutions in Washington, officials of both IMF and WB praised Nepal for moving towards higher economic growth. Moreover, IMF congratulated Finance Minister of Nepal Krishna Bahadur Mahara and participating Nepali delegates at the meeting for economic success that Nepal is achieving.

Meanwhile, WB also announced to double its assistance to Nepal through International Development Association in 2018 to intensify Nepal’s economic growth.
