LONDON: Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington had to tone down his good looks for his latest role in the movie Inside Man because he had to play a regular guy. Washington had to shave his head and put on some weight to play a cop who has to negotiate with a criminal, reported contactmusic.com. He says, “He is a regular guy. He is in over his head. He has been accused of stealing $140,000, his girlfriend wants to get married yesterday... This is the biggest case he has ever had, so he has got a few issues.” He added that his wife Pauletta had no problems with him letting himself go for the role. He remarks: “(She is fine) as long as I buy her something.”
