Absolutely a sinner’s paradise
Kathmandu:
The ‘sinners’ were all there and with the intent to indulge.
Not only were they dressed to the nines but also carried the attitude to kill.
Even long before the party actually kicked off on the given time of 9:00 pm, the party animals had gathered in huge throngs waiting for the party scene to rev up. And more people gathered as the unlimited drinks flowed and the music exploded the Atrium.
It was only after 10:00 pm that the dance floor really scorched as the party freaks jived to DJ Jazzy Joe’s music.
‘Sinners in Heaven’ at Atrium, Hotel Yak and Yeti on September 2 was perhaps the most happening bash in the Capital in months. When the party reached its crescendo and DJ Jazzy Joe flaunted his unbelievable turntable skills, the dance floor had people of all hues bogeying to the blasting beats.
The music was an eclectic mix of memorable tracks and skipped from remixes, raggae and trance to bhangra club. And party animals were reluctant to leave the dance floor till the crack of the dawn.
The party was sponsored by Pepsi, Cosmic air, Fursad.com, De-luxe Radio Service, Dreams and Ideas, L&M, Mero Mobile and Jolly, with The Himalayan Times as the official print media.
With unlimited drinks and dinner and groovy music, it was indeed a sinner’s heaven, if enjoying one’s self is to be called sinning.
