Acting for free
MUMBAI:
All actors in Ashok Pandit’s new film, aimed as a wake-up call following the 7/11 train bombings in Mumbai, are working for free. The short film advocates security measures in the wake of last month’s serial blasts, reports Bollywood Trade. “It’s a film to generate awareness post-7/11. We are voluntarily doing it for the Mumbai police, to help them with this cause,” said actor Atul Kulkarni, who is involved with the film. “It has a social message, which says if you find any unidentified object or suspect something, please call the police,” he said.
