LONDON: English singer Adele, who returned from hiatus earlier this year with a new album 25, has a pending tax bill worth £4 million. Despite of being inactive last year, Adele is still paying off her tax bills, reports femalefirst.co.uk. As Adele was still earning royalties from her 2011 album 21 and her 2012 Bond song Skyfall, the 27-year-old star’s firm Melted Stone Ltd owes the money in corporation tax, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.

The Rolling in the deep hitmaker has net worth of estimated £50 million and her latest record, which released in October, sold over three million copies in its first week.
