Kathmandu:

Spearheading Nepal’s representation from Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2005, first runner-up Shavona Shrestha will be representing Nepal at the Miss Earth pageant 2005, which is due to be held in Manila, the Philipines on October 23.

Shavona who is scheduled to fly off to Manila on October 1 was able to notch up the highest public admiration in the popularity poll. Her participation at the international beauty pageant is, therefore, the subject of concern and speculation for all of Shavona’s fans.

Talking to The Himalayan Times, the exulted Shavona said, “I am proud to be able to represent Nepal in the international arena and I take upon myself the responsibility to keep a name for Nepal in the pageant. I will surely make my presence felt.”
