All the world’s one big dance floor
LONDON: US pop diva Madonna announced the dates for her new Confessions world tour and vowed to turn the globe into “one big dance floor”.
The singer, 47, will swing through North America from May to July before heading to Europe throughout August, with Japan also on the list. “I’m going to turn the world into one big dance floor”, said Madonna, who has already begun rehearsals in Los Angeles with her troupe of musicians and dancers. The North American leg kicks off at the Los Angeles Forum on May 21, the European leg starts in Cardiff on July 30. The tour will visit Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, with the promise of more dates to come. Frenchman Jean Paul Gaultier will design the tour costumes.
