And Kulung launches Ani...
KATHMANDU: Narendra Kulung is not a new name in the Nepali music industry. He already has four albums to his credit — Samjhan Part I and II, Sahili, Purbeli Kanchhi and Fulko Dalima. He has come up with another album Ani..., which was launched on March 11 by the singing legend Fatteman Rajbhandari at the Nepal Tourism Board.
Rajbhandari commended his work and said, “Kulung has exhibited immense potentiality. He is tomorrow’s shining star of the industry.”
Many consider his engaging vocal his strong part. He started his singing career five years ago, and over the years he has given a number of hit numbers like Jati tadha tadhidaichhu.
This new album consists seven songs, all of which are folk-based pop numbers. Krishna Adhikari and Pemu Gurung have accompanied him in vocals, whereas Postraj Gautam Aasha Kunung, Krishna Adhikari are the lyricists, Khem Damainti, Milan Singh have composed soothing music for the album.
Folk flavour has added flavour to these otherwise flashy pop songs.
