Anderson’s child assistant raises eyebrows

LOS ANGELOS: The New York Post is reporting that attendees at the Hollywood Style Awards on Sunday were shocked at Pamela Anderson for making Adelaide Gault, age 9, carry the train of her rumpled Vivienne Westwood gown at Sunday night's Hollywood Style Awards.

Not so fast. The girl's mom, makeup artist Sharon Gault, who was at the event, tells a HollywoodLife.com source that her daughter was psyched to help Anderson with her bedspread, er, dress.

Pam's booking agent tells HollywoodLife.com that the criticism is "totally absurd."

Reports say Anderson shocked attendees when she jokingly told reporters that Adelaide was her and David LaChapelle's "daughter."

We think the poor kid may have been horrified by how little of Pam was covered up by that messy unmade bed-of-a-gown.

Including her barely covered crotch, which was right at little Adelaide’s eye level.
