Aussie strip club misuse Kylie’s picture

LONDON:

Lawyers of pop star Kylie Minogue have served a notice to an Australian strip club to remove a picture of her from their window.

Contactmusic.com reports that Minogue’s lawyers said the use of her picture on the club’s window indicated that she endorsed it, but the club’s owner Garth Rossen claims Minogue’s legal team has mistaken the identity of the person in the picture. He said the risqué outfit worn by the look-alike in the picture should be clear enough indication that it is not Minogue. “What would a nice girl like Kylie be doing in a wet top like that?” he asked. But he added that he would bring the picture down. “We wouldn’t want to upset her. Not at Christmas anyway.”
