Beckham’s plan pre-World Cup charity auction

LONDON:

Victoria and David Beckham are to host a pre-world cup charity auction which is expected to raise money for UNICEF.

The former Spice Girl has managed to gather donated items worth over £ 2 million, which will be auctioned off during Full Length and Fabulous party at the Beckhams Hertfordshire mansion on May 21. David and Victoria are doing all they can to ensure that the party will be spectacular, but they’re also determined to raise as much cash as possible, femalefirst quoted an insider, as telling Daily Mirror newspaper.

Items up for grabs include a pair of diamond encrusted his and hers watches, a diamond necklace and a limited edition Bentley car worth £300,000. When Victoria was in New York recently, she went to see the Jacob and Co designer to twist his arm so he’d donate something for the auction. She came back with two of the most expensive watches the company makes, said the source.

The Bentley has every co-nceivable gadget — the footballers present are bound to be trying to outbid each other for it as there will be no more made for sale.
