Beware of calf love

Love is everything,” said a greatest poet. One time love was everything to me. I loved a girl when I was in grade six. She was a new student in the class. At first when I looked her a while, I thought I was in love with her.

Her crazy face, her crazy eyes, her crazy hair, her crazy lips, her crazy smile and the crazy dimple in her cheeks made me crazy. People say love is blind. Its true and I was blinded by my love for her. Even though I was in love with her, I didn’t tell her that I had fallen in love with her. I used to think of her even during my exams.

After that I passed I wrote a poem for her. I decided to speak with her in Class VII. At the starting session of Class VII, I talked with her. But again therewas a long holiday. I didn’t not meet her, so I couldn’t talked to her. When school re-opened I wanted to talk with her. I tried but I couldn’t. I don’t know why I felt shy. Now again I was in a problem. My exams were near and again I though of her often and I did poorly again.

After that I graduated to grade eight, I realised that love is the biggest and the most dangerous disease that we need to be aware of in our school life. Now her crazy face, her crazy eyes, her crazy hair, her crazy lips, her crazy smile don’t mean anything to me. Now she is only my friend and only a friend. — Summit Ghimire, Class VII
