Due to the heavy load of homework, I was really very tired once. I was wondering how I would manage to do all the homework that the teachers had given us (written work) and at the same time do my revisions for a test the next day.

I reached home at 5:00 pm, and hurriedly had my tea, and sat down to do my homework.

I couldn’t forget my teacher’s slap as I sat down. I had to show the results of the experiments for Science, had to do a number of sums for Maths, and many question-and-answers for other subjects. And if I didn’t complete my homework, then I’d be punished for sure.

I also had to write a speech for the felicitation programme to be held after the test.

Even after midnight, I hadn’t finished my homework. And it was only at 3:30 am that I did, but by then I was so tired I couldn’t do any revision for my test.

It was already 8:00 am when my mother finally managed to wake me up.

I did everything in a hurry and just managed to reach school on time. However, I spoiled my test and I blame it on the loads and loads of homework I had to do the previous night.
