Alok’s 10th anniv:

Alok Vidyashram celebrated its 10th Annual Day on March 19. A function was held at the Royal Academy Hall to mark the day. The programme began with a Guard of Honour and the highlight of the programme was the performance of the fairytale Snow White and Seven Dwarfs by the primary section students. Awards were also distributed — the Alok Excellence Award was presented to Shilpa Chand of Class X. An audio CD composed by the school students was also released. Founder Principal Banita Agarwal presented the annual report on the school and the activities.

House assemblies:

The four houses of Triyog High School performed in their respective house assemblies on March 9 and 10 with students from classes IV to VII participating in the assemblies. They put up their best efforts and as a result Rara House bagged the first position followed by Begnas and Tilicho Houses respectively. — Reeha Dhungel, Class IX, Triyog High School
