Seventh graders’ day:

Let’s talk it out:

Shuvatara School held an extempore competition on February 24 on the topic ‘What is Education? What type of Education do we need for our overall development? And what type of Education do students aspire for?’ The students from Classes VII-IX took part in the competition. Spelling bee and a trip:

The annual Triyog Inter-house Spelling Contest was held on February 16 and 17. The competition was categorised into pre-primary, primary, junior, intermediate and senior levels. Begnas House managed to bag the first position followed by Rara and Tilicho houses. On February 14, the students of Grade V were taken on a visit to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Accompanied by three teachers, the students visited temples and got a wonderful chance to explore Nepali history and culture. — Reeha Dhungel, Class IX, Triyog High School

Water wonders:

On the occasion of Mahashivratri, students and staff of Daffodil Public School and Daffodil Boarding School distributed free mineral water. With support from a number of companies they were able to distribute 500 bottles of water to thirsty devotees who had come to the Pashupatinath temple. — S Pitts, Daffodil School

Activities galore:

A youth media interaction programme was organised by Society for Open Nepal (SFON), Budhanilkantha Chapter on February 21. Eminent personalities like Yuvraj Ghimire, Kunda Dixi graced and addressed the programme. On February 13, the school celebrated its 33rd School Day.
