LOS ANGELES: Britney Spears has celebrated the end of her Circus world tour by treating herself to a pet parakeet. The pop star was shopping for dog food at a Calabasas, California pet store on September 30 when she fell for a birdie and bought it, reports contactmusic.com.

“She settled on a yellow parakeet and bought a big, white cage and several toys for the bird,” an eyewitness said.
