Actor Adrien Brody was left cleaning up after a red-faced Martha Stewart, when the lifestyle queen drenched herself in alcohol during a botched attempt to mix a cocktail.

The Oscar winner was a guest on Stewart’s US TV show on December 2, when she attempted to show him how to create a Cosmopolitan.

But she was stunned when a piece of a faulty mixer launched in her face, sending the red drink splashing into her eye and drenching her clothes.

Mopping up the mess from Stewart’s sweater, Brody said, “That’s why they give us virgin drinks (backstage) because we’d have no excuse. I don’t care, believe me — it’s the most exciting thing that’s happened to me on my press tour. Martha spilled a shot and it’s all before 10 am.”
