Butch, Sundance together again

Movie icons Robert Redford and Paul Newman are teaming up onscreen again 36 years

after they starred in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in a television documentary profiling Newman. Redford, 68, and 80-year-old Newman will pair in an episode of a six-part documentary profile series called Iconoclasts to be made and broadcast by the Sundance Channel, which was founded by Redford, Daily Variety said. Redford will produce the episode and will also interview Newman, with whom he co-starred in 1969’s Butch Cassidy and 1973’s The Sting, about his movie career, passion for race car driving and his philanthropic work. Iconoclasts, which premieres on the US-based channel on November 17, pairs two well-known personalities, one of whom will draw out the personality of the other.
