Kathmandu:

To mark the 12th anniversary of handling the management of the Central Zoo, the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) is organising a two-day book exhibition in the Zoo premises from December 29.

Especially targeted for students upto the college level, the fair will have 10 bookstalls and five food stalls. Students will have to show their identity cards for free entry, which will also entitle them to take two additional people.

“We have always seen parents taking their children to various places. Here, it is just the other way round,” said Devi Ghimire, advisor, Friends of the Zoo, Central Zoo.

“We mark the anniversary with various programmes, this time it is a book fair. The books will

be mostly related to environmental issues,” he added. Apart from these, various organisations related to nature and wildlife conservation will also be participating.
