KATHMANDU: As the winter vacation has started many parents are having a tough time keeping their children occupied throughout the day. However, this weekend the parents need not worry, all they have to do is take their children to the Mayos Cartoon Carnival. Organised by Applaud events and promotion, Mayos Cartoon Carnival is a two-days long fun filled celebration for children.

The event being held on January 5 and 6 at BICC promises to entertain children with games, food and much more. Children can not only enjoy variety of games like basket ball, football, dart, hit the can among others but can also meet their favourite cartoon characters and superheroes like Superman, Spiderman, Tom and Jerry, Winnie the Pooh and many others. And children can go for a scooter ride, paint their faces and visit the bouncy castle for free.

Although the event is all about children, parents can try their luck at bingo. Part of the proceeds is going to be donated to Balmandir.

The event is sponsored by Mayos and co-sponsored by Photo Concern, Lewis Berger and Pepsi. The event timing is from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Entry fee is Rs 250.
