The ongoing Samsung Nepali Tara has emerged as a milestone in Nepali television’s history as it is gaining tremendous popularity among viewers every day. The last episode of Samsung Nepali Tara on Saturday selected 10 more participants who are now gearing up for the third round of competition along with other 20 who have already been selected.

The coming episode on May 14 will conclude the second round of selection after which 40 aspirants will clash to make their way to the grand finale.

Samsung Nepali Tara, produced by Neel Barahi Films, is aired every Saturday on Nepal Television at 7:20 in the evening and Annapurna Post is the official media for the event.

The recent episode gave an opportunity to Bhishan Adhikari (Biratnagar), Bijaya Gurung (Pokhara), Sushmita Adhikari (Pokhara), Santosh Lama, Dev Koini, Nitin Chandra Gajurel, Prakash Nakarmai, Puspa Paudel, Rajani Pradhan and Suman Rumba (Kathmandu), who will be waiting eagerly to compete in the third round of competition.

As the popularity of the programme is soaring higher, emails and letters from viewers are flooding in to the organiser’s office, since a contest for the audience is also being conducted. One who would rightly predict the names of the top 10 finalists can win a 21-inch Samsung Television.

Two hundred and six participants were selected from across the country for the competition. Judged by three prominent musicians, the show promises to bring some outstanding talents.
