KATHMANDU:

It was a big night of celebration for all the club hoppers of the Valley on October 5. The much-loved nightclub Platinum reopened after a long gap.

The night was full of high energy with stylish youngsters making their way to the dance floor.

The Club’s doors opened after 8:00 pm but the real crowd started gathering only as the night progressed. Girls all in the latest stylish and sexy attire and the guys in funky get-up came in groups. They danced together to the mixes played by the house DJs Tenzing and Rupesh. The hip-hop and Bollywood mixes were successful in keeping the crowd of around 600 dance the whole time. The ambience was lively and bartender was kept busy preparing cocktails for the guests and flaring received much cheers from the crowd.

As midnight approached the turntable was taken over by guest DJ Christine from Australia, who with her house and trance mixes re-energised the crowd to dance till the wee hours.
