If you want to decorate your homes giving it the Nepali look with goods that are locally produced but don’t know where to go, this is an opportunity for you to see everything you might need all in one place at the Kathmandu Home Décor/Gift Show. Be it furniture, ceramics, candles, Nepali paper products, cushions made from natural fibres, carpets with typical Nepali designs — they are all here.
And it’s not just your house. There are shawls, stoles, sarees in pashmina, dhaka, silk and other fabrics too. They have exquisite pieces of silver jewellery as well. And if you are an art lover, works by new artists have also been put up.
The show was inaugurated on November 2. There are eight companies participating in this event which is being held from November 2 to 6 at Nepal Art Council, Babar Mahal. The participating companies are Red Buddha, Nepal Knotcraft Centre, Nepal Women Crafts, Yak and Yeti Enterprises, Kiran and Associates, Sagarmatha Silks, Dhaka Weaves and Formation Carpets.
